Dave Grohl now has ambitions to direct and produce Sound City, a rock-documentary focusing on the infamous SoCal recording studio where Nirvana, Metallica, Fleetwood Mac, Nine Inch Nails and many other platinum rock artists made music history.

Grohl called Sound City: not-quite-paroled Charles Manson??

We’re super stoked to learn recording deets on iconic albums like Rumours and Nevermind, but we can’t help but wonder what kind of monkey wrench Courtney Love will be in this whole process.

She publicly accused Grohl of harassing her teen daughter and only offered up a half-hearted apology once discovering she was way out of line.

Something tells us she still hasn’t learned any lessons about opening her mouth.

And there’s just no way she keeps quiet about a Nirvana doc!!
