Well, that was fast!

Martin Lawrence usually impresses us with his comedy timing, but today we are dazzled by his quickness with filing legal documents!

Just one DAY after splitting from his love of 15 years (wife for 2) Shamicka, Big Momma Martin officially filed for divorce.

Whatever happened between them last week must have been REALLY serious!

Martin wants ca$h. (If the flick ever gets made!)

In a joint statement the couple says:

"Out of love and respect for one another, we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together."

For the sake of their children, we sincerely hope that's true!
