After getting uber excited by the promise of a Jimi Hendrix biopic starring Andre 3000, it seems our reaction was premature!

Experience Hendrix, LLC, the family owned institution in charge of the late music legend's estate has halted all production having to do with the flick, rumored to be called All Is By My Side.

The group released this official statement:mean there won't EVER be Jimi Hendrix picture - just not as soon as we'd hoped!

Ah well...
