Justice has been served.

This afternoon, a jury rightfully found Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law William Balfour guilty of murdering her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew.

While the verdict was read, Jennifer sat between her fiance and sister, crying silently as Balfour was convicted of all charges. While her fiance held her hand, Jennifer's sister shared a brief, but noticeable moment with her, while her ex-husband was escorted back to prison. Balfour showed no sign of remorse or sadness while the verdict was read.

According to his lawyer, however, Balfour is replace Jennifer's family or fill the gaping void left behind by them. We just hope that in time, Jennifer, Julia and the whole Hudson family will find some peace.
