Barack Obama is about to square off against Mitt Romney in the general election that decides the next president of the United States of America, but what we really want to see is Kim Kardashian challenge Glendale Mayor Frank Quintero!

Not only would it make great television, but it would finally make us pay attention to local politics! Ha!

Kim recently announced her attentions to run for mayor in the El Lay county city because she wants to rep the Armenian community.

We weren't sure how serious she was, but her rep has even confirmed that the uber famous reality star is always looking "for opportunities to grow" and is "learning more about ways in which she can help to do her part to make a difference in the community."

It's been almost two weeks and Kim has already made headlines for a bazillion other things, so is she still focused on her political career? At a recent event, an interviewer asked just that and she said this:tuned" into this gurl for many more seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians anway, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Based on the first sentence that came out of her mouth, it sounds like she's not entirely sure yet if she REALLY wants to commit to the rat race of politics. If that's the case, we wouldn't blame her! Politics can be a dirty, dirty game!
