Julie Plec, the executive producer of the Vampire Diaries, has been picked to write the movie adaptation for the New York Times best-selling book The Tiger's Curse.

It's kinda cool because her personal rise in Hollywood is just as compelling as the books story and how it became a worldwide hit!

Plec started out as Wes Craven's assistant before work together before they even started their career!
